Facebook, over the years has grown beyond what it used to be. Almost everyday, new feature/s gets added, courtesy of competition from other social media companies. To remain relevant in the industry, Mark Zuckerberg and his team had to keep rolling out even more amazing features that can keep users on the platform.
However, unexpectedly, many users doesn’t even know about these features. This, perhaps because the social media giant doesn’t announce the features as notifications. Either way, keep your pop-corn close because we are about to unveil some Facebook features you never knew exist!

1. Activity Feature.
This feature shows you the entire time you spend on Facebook every day that passes.
With the feature, you can manage your time, and determine if the time you spend on Facebook daily, is worth it.
To access it, Goto your Settings, Click “Your time on Facebook“.
2. Download Data Feature.
This feature allows you to download all your data you’ve ever created, or posted on Facebook since you created your account.
These data include all your posts, chats, images, videos, etc.
To access it, Goto your Settings, Click “Your Facebook Information Tab“, Select “Download Your Information“.
3. Turn Off Video Autoplay Feature.
You recall those moments when a video pops up on your news feed, and starts playing automatically, and eats like data like cake?
You can stop that by going to your Settings, Click “Videos” and set “Auto-Play Videos” to Off.
4. Changing Your Ad Preferences.
If you’re tired of seeing a specific kind of ads on your timeline. Maybe from a brand, company or celebrity.
You can change it to your preferred ads by going to your Settings, Click “Ads“, Click “Your Interests“.
Then you can hit “X” under the advertisers tab to remove those you don’t like, and add those you prefer.

5. See Those Who Are Trying To Snoop Into Your Account.
Many Facebook users don’t know this feature exists.
With this feature, you can see those who are attempting h.acks on your account, and their locations too.
Or, those who logged into your account without your permission.
To find this, Goto Settings, Click “Security and login approvals“.
Under “Where You’re Logged In” you will be able to see all of the devices that are currently logged into your account as well as the date and time of each login.
If you see anything suspicious, you can click on it and log out of that device.
With this feature, you can also be safe if you ever lose your phone or someone else gets access to it.
By logging out of all devices, your Facebook account will be protected from being accessed without your permission.
6. Facebook Activity Log Feature.
This feature shows everything that your friends have been posting, liking, and commenting on.
To access it, Goto Settings, Click “Privacy“, select “Activity Log“.
7. Memory Tab Feature.
To see a post you made on a specific day one or several years ago, the memory tab will come to your rescue.
For instance, if you want to see a post you made (13th August), 2021, just Goto Facebook Account Menu, and click on ‘Memories‘.
8. Search Feature.
Do you want to access any post you’ve made previously without wasting your time scrolling to the moment you posted it?
One easy way to do it is to type a keyword you can remember from that post into your search bar.
Let’s say you used a word like “crazy” in that previous post, simply type “crazy” into your search bar.
Click on posts, and locate the filter menu at the top right of the page.
Click on it, and select “posts from”, then select “You“.
You’d find the post, alongside with other posts you made that had that word “crazy“.
9. How To Download A Reel.
To download a Reel, click the 3 dots at the down right part of the Reel you intend to download, click the “Copy Link” option,
Goto your browser, and type: snapsave(Dot)app/facebook-reels-download, when it opens, paste the link in the space provided, and click on download.
